You used to be an egg. Got used to live inside an egg until sprouting with traces of a tail. The birds used to be dinosaurs until the dinosaurs got used to being birds. Then all they found were fragments of fragmented bones to puzzle together like LEGO. And when they find you in 65 million years from now they won’t know that you were singing while your tail between your legs to communicate. We get used to what they say to us. And when we go through time it isn’t what it used to be. When I found Maria Casey she used to have spikes like a porcupine but those fragments are not showing in the fossil records.
Johan Ibrahim Adam graduated in 2020 from the Large Glass department at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy. The bird were part of his graduation project.
